FAQs

K
L
Are your carers trained to support Parkinson’s specifically?
Yes. Our team receives condition-specific training to understand the symptoms, challenges, and how to best support those living with Parkinson’s.
K
L
Can visit times be adjusted as symptoms fluctuate?
This is impossible to do on a day-to-day basis as there will be other calls expecting the carer to be on time. We can adjust calls so that they are when the medication is working at its best. There is a sort of window of opportunity when the meds work well. it can be difficult to predict but we do our best and can adjust times again when medication is changed.

Do you work alongside other healthcare professionals?
Yes. We’re happy to coordinate with physiotherapists, GPs, and other specialists to ensure joined-up care that meets the client’s full needs.
